However, while I can select Dessa (if I place a battle mage), neither Gunnar nor Kyrre seem to be available (I tried choosing their specific types, as well as random hero, and then look for them from there, but to no avail). So I'm trying to edit the randomly generated map and just add one of the heroes I like to the map (like, just in front of the castle or something). But sometimes I like to play with, say, Castle, or Inferno or whatever.
I can select them if I play as Stronghold, Rampart or Dungeon respectively. I'm mostly playing extra large 8xm8 random maps these days, and hence I love heroes with logistics as their speciality, which kinda narrows down my options to Dessa, Kyrre and Gunnar. Anyway, in the HoMM3 SoD map editor, there's an option to add heroes to the map.
I'm not sure if I should mention this, since everyone knows the only Heroes out there is Heroes 3. Hello there, you beautiful heroes loving bastards!
